3.0 engine is a dead giveaway that it's falsely badged as an M5.

That was my thought too, but a V8 and that look still makes it appealing. No mileage listed though...l

Unless I am quite mistaken, the E34 M5 was not offered in an automatic.

It is kind of cool, even with the AT
If it had an MT you'd need to buy it right away!

FAKE. 3.0 engine like Ian said, plus I'm almost positive these weren't brought to the states and its not old enough to be registered. Plus "Automatic w/choice to use Manual" and I think the only tranny option was a 5 or 6 spd manual.

As others have said, not an M5. M5 did not have an automatic transmission or a 3.0

There are a number of things wrong with the listing, he does say 150k miles. I'm wary of the 3.0 v8 and the autotragic is a killer for me. However, it is white, which I like on BMWs and it has the two panel panoramic sunroof which I've not seen often. I'm always very suspicious when someone claims a 10/10 and all that. I've almost never seen a 10 but have seen several 9s. Be cautious and be prepared to spend. Never buy a car you aren't willing to put money into, because you almost certainly will have to sooner than you'd wish.

Excellent on gas was a dead giveaway to me. Must be full of shit.

Hahaha. Eexcellent on gas is pretty relative. I once got 29mpg out of my 325i on a tank. Several times I pushed it to the teens because hoon. I thought teens were bad. A friend of mine who had the same year 325i and was a bigger hoon than me thought it got excellent gas mileage because he'd come from a 400ish hp carburated Camaro. It is reason to be suspicious of what 10/10 means to this guy though.

But to be fair, he did know it was a 3.0. I'm still calling bs on the 10 until I contact him or see it.

Pretty much this. That M5 badge would come off the second the title was signed over though. I'd deal with my trepidation about the 3.0V8 for a white, manual, panoramic 5er longroof.

Now we must find them!
Tiny V8 sounds fun. Maintenance costs be damned!

I looked and looked, only found basket cases or things that were too far away to take the chance as a college student. Maybe someday I'll revisit this idea.

Clean E34 tourings with MTs are few and far between!

All M5s before E60 were manual only.

Not an M5 but at $3500, still a sexy deal.
